Feeding you in the dark
The screen of light falls on your face
Dark lullibies of comfort lull you dreary
And me, I sit weary from another day
You look past me, your source of sustenance
But I mind not for you are comforted
Peace settles on your brow, rest
And the winds of forever blow
I touch the silken skin on your cheek
Communication of the mute and dumbfounded
The blind who can not see past today
But hope for a better way, someday
The night tells the story of a million years,
Diamonds of tears and all my dried up fears,
Hopes in hell and the dreams that fell
from the sky to die and fade.
Count the stars and before long you'll realise
That some hopes and dreams weren't meant to fly
But that's okay beacuse your not the one I'm trying to please
Eat right, sleep right, think right, yeah right
Happiness is not always found, not quite
But in the depression of thought and emotion
The escape can be found from this placebo potion
I look to you my love, the sky above
to tell me of the one that creates
and displays the form of a dove
and spans the immense; I wait,
but no answer you give, silence.
Echoes of my heart fill your being
but still I fall blinded by ignorance.
What is it that I am not seeing?
I sheild my eyes; divine chance
And there I see the Light that blinds
Grasping me, catching me, holding me
close to the divine and loving breast.
I struglle, I strive and try to break free,
and push against love, ah, I tried my best.
But safe and secure I stayed, in the hands from above.
If you always saw me happy
Would you always think I was happy
If you always saw me sad
Would you always think I was sad
If you always saw me pleased
Would you always think I was pleased
If you always saw me lonely
Would you always think I was lonely
If you always saw me
Would you always think that I would be there...
If you always saw me happy
Would you always think I was happy
If you always saw me sad
Would you always think I was sad
If you always saw me pleased
Would you always think I was pleased
If you always saw me lonely
Would you always think I was lonely
If you always saw me

I start my teaching practicum next week so I probably won't be able to submit anything for a few weeks while I am on that. It usually keeps me going from 8am-midnight most nights of the week planning lessons. Will be back when I can.... I have a few ideas for my next submission....
Though I am extremely busy, I really need to find an outlet and I am deciding that deviantart will be a part of that. Hopefully I can fit it into my daily routine and comment and submit more... we'll see.....
Been spending most of my time on teaching practise and doing up a website for a friend's band Essta. Like to share opinions... www.essta.com and comment to the webmaster, any comments are helpful as I am certainly a beginner in the making of webpages as this is only my second along with my personal website... anyway, have a look if you like.
